How the sampling process works: from request to sample dispatch
For sourcing teams, sampling is not just about receiving a fabric piece. It is the stage where color, hand feel, stretch, weight, and finishing direction are checked against the real product requirement. At Shine Loom, the process usually starts with requirement alignment, then moves into fabric recommendation, образец arrangement, confirmation, and dispatch. Samples can be prepared in as fast as 3 days for suitable cases.
Step 1: define the request clearly
The best starting point is to share the end use, preferred composition, target weight range, color needs, reference swatch or image, and whether the fabric needs moisture management, antibacterial/odor control, color fastness enhancement, or another finish. Better inputs usually lead to better образец accuracy.
Step 2: select the route and arrange образецs
Once the main direction is clear, the next step is to match the right fabric route and decide whether the buyer needs an existing swatch, a development образец, or a образец focused on color or finishing confirmation.
Step 3: review color, hand feel, and performance direction
The образец stage should not focus only on appearance. Buyers usually also review hand feel, thickness, recovery, color deviation, and whether the performance finish matches the intended use.
Step 4: dispatch and decide the next move
After образец dispatch, the most useful feedback is specific: what is approved, what needs adjustment, and whether the next step should be another образец round, a trial order, or bulk discussion. Faster feedback usually means a smoother project timeline.
